new building section

  1. The diagrams on the top are very exciting. The building sections are not as exciting. There is something stagnate - the ball seems stuck - lodged. Maybe the ramps will help. What is the bottom of ball in the building section? The lower half of the ball? maybe not drawings the back wall of the court. try superimposing some of the grids of the ball along the back wall or for structure.

  2. I'm not sure the basketball form reduced to a circle or sphere alone is the strongest interpretation...what's unique about a basketball? The lines on it are perhaps something you can respond to, or possibly the basket/rim? I also agree above, the bottom of the ball does not have anything responding to it. See the Pantheon section, or the Univ. of Virginia Rotunda section, or the work of Boullee. The circle/sphere form is used to organize the whole space.
